- 60 ml overripe banana, mashed
- 120 ml vegetable oil or melted butter
- 200 g brown sugar, packed
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 160 g all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 100 g chocolate chips
- Butter, sugar, and mashed banana in a large bowl.
- Add egg yolk and vanilla extract, mix well.
- Add flour, salt, baking soda, and cinnamon, stir until no flour streaks remain.
- Fold in chocolate chips and let the dough rest for 15 minutes.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and preheat oven to 175 °C.
- Scoop dough balls onto the sheet, leaving 5 cm space between them.
- Bake for 10-11 minutes until edges are set and the center is slightly underbaked.
- Let cool before serving.
